Betsy Coughlin, LPC-MHSP (temp), NCC, M.Ed, MTS

Betsy Coughlin is a pre-licensed professional counselor (LPC-MHSP temp) and facilitator of psychedelic-assisted therapy. She practices from a deeply collaborative place between client and therapist and is rooted in the belief that each person contains an inner healing wisdom—Betsy sees the therapeutic process as an opportunity to cultivate one’s connection to this wisdom through the safe container of the therapeutic relationship.

In addition to her training in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Betsy is trained in Brainspotting, Hypnotherapy, and various somatic approaches, including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and enjoys integrating body-based practices and mindfulness with psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Prior to becoming a therapist, Betsy worked in spiritual care in the university setting as well as pediatric and adult hospitals where she served as a hospital chaplain. She offers therapy for individuals experiencing complex trauma, religious abuse and deconstruction, grief and loss, and end of life.

"In light of the growing mental health crisis, it is imperative that those in distress or struggling with treatment-resistant disorders are offered a lifeline of support and care. Our commitment is focused on supporting individuals on their unique journey as they gain insight into different aspects of themselves."
